Alessandro Portolano is a Partner at Chiomenti, where he heads the Advisory & Litigation Department and the Financial Services Regulation Practice.
From 1995 to 2003, he worked at the Bank of Italy, having ranked first in the national entrance competition.
Alessandro advises Italian and international financial institutions on banking, financial, asset management and payment services regulation.
He is the only Italian professional ranked in Band 1 by the British guide Chambers & Partners both in the “Banking: Financial Services Regulations” category and in the “Fintech” category.
