ITALIAFINTECH, FINTECH POLAND, POLAND–ITALY FINTECH ROUNDTABLE
ItaliaFintech took part in the Poland–Italy Fintech Roundtable, hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Rome, an event dedicated to strengthening ties between the Italian and Polish fintech ecosystems and fostering new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
Co-organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Rome, FinTech Poland, ItaliaFintech and the Polish Italian Business Council, the event brought together fintech companies and leading representatives from the financial and banking sectors of both countries. During the event, ItaliaFintech and FinTech Poland also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two ecosystems and contributing to the development of the fintech industry.
The discussion focused on some of the key challenges and opportunities shaping financial innovation, including international expansion, digital payments, open banking, embedded finance, cybersecurity, regulatory cooperation, and investment and partnership opportunities. Particular attention was given to creating favourable conditions for business growth and facilitating access to the respective markets.
The roundtable provided an important opportunity for dialogue among companies, financial institutions, investors, regulatory authorities and business organisations, with the aim of turning discussions into concrete initiatives and developing new forms of cooperation between Italy and Poland.
