At the workshop “Implementation of MiCAR in Italy: the authorization of crypto-asset service providers,” organized by the Bank of Italy, ItaliaFintech contributed with a presentation aimed at analyzing the state of implementation of the MiCAR Regulation, with particular attention to the issuance of authorizations for crypto-asset service providers (CASP) in various European countries, highlighting the critical issues of the Italian application framework.
Solutions aimed at greater proportionality, clarity, and collaboration between authorities and operators were also proposed. This presentation is an invitation to combine innovation, competitiveness, and savings protection in the new crypto-asset scenario.
